Our Mission

• To advocate for improved services and enhanced quality of life for persons with mental illness.
• To work diligently for the eradication of mental illness and elimination of the stigma associated with these illnesses.
• To provide direct services in the form of housing and work opportunities when such services are not otherwise available in the public or private sector.
• To sponsor meetings, support groups, and classes of benefit to the community.

Association Profile

A United Way Agency, NAMI-Central Georgia provides benefits to our membership including monthly meetings and programs, subscription to THE ADVOCATE, availability of books, brochures and fact sheets, and the good feeling of helping others help themselves.
